Terms of Service

1. The agreement

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Rocket Digital Limited (“we”, “us”), registered at 1603, The L Plaza, 367-375 Queens Road Central, Hong Kong. If you don’t agree to these Terms, please don’t use the SelfAI AI Photo Studio.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use SelfAI.
• You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

3. The Service

SelfAI is an AI Headshot Generator and AI Photo Studio that turns selfies and reference photos into professional AI headshots, business photos, ID photos, and social media pictures across 30+ studio styles. The Service is delivered through our iOS app, Android app, and web app.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SelfAI to:

• Upload photos of people without their consent, or impersonate another person.
• Generate AI photos of public figures, celebrities, or minors in any way that could mislead or harm them.
• Create images that are illegal, harassing, defamatory, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringe someone’s rights.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, resell, or attempt to extract our models or training data.
• Interfere with the integrity, performance, or security of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Your content and your rights

• You own your photos. You keep ownership of the selfies and reference photos you upload.
• You own the AI photos you generate (subject to applicable law). You can use them for personal and commercial purposes, such as LinkedIn headshots, resume photos, business profiles, dating profiles, social media, and personal branding.
• License to operate the service. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and process your uploads and generated images so we can deliver the Service to you.
• No public model training. We do not use your photos to train public AI models.

6. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated images can contain inaccuracies, artifacts, or unexpected details. SelfAI makes no warranty that AI photos are perfectly realistic, suitable for every use case, or compliant with every platform’s rules. You’re responsible for reviewing each AI photo before publishing it.

7. Subscriptions, purchases, and refunds

• Some features are available only with a paid plan or one-off purchase. Pricing is shown in the app before you confirm.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your App Store or Google Play account.
• Refunds are handled by the App Store and Google Play according to their policies. RevenueCat manages our subscription state.
• Promotional pricing or free trials may have additional terms shown at checkout.

8. Third-party services

SelfAI uses third-party providers to deliver the Service, including RevenueCat (subscription management), Firebase (auth, storage, push, crash reporting), Google AdMob (advertising), OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, and Fal.ai (AI inference), and Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Vercel Analytics (measurement). Their services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Intellectual property

The SelfAI brand, logos, app design, code, and content are owned by Rocket Digital Limited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written consent, except the AI photos you generate from your own uploads.

10. Termination

You can stop using SelfAI any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, third parties, or our infrastructure. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as licences, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

11. Disclaimers

SelfAI is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising out of or relating to your use of SelfAI. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rocket Digital Limited harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of a third party’s rights.

14. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update SelfAI and these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
